After the expense of repeated listings failure to sell and $$$> NOW WHAT>TIME TO DONATE
I have lowered prices, re-evaluated and defined to NO avail. Small sellers LOSE here on on e-thrift!
I can not longer afford the expense of failed sales on eBay. eBay was considered the *Holly Grail*, but now without sales I , personally , can no longer invest $$ without a return. Like throwing my $$ in the garbage.
Anyone else feel the same??

I don't feel that way because I don't have any "expense of failed sales. I never go over my 200 free insertions and I never add any pricey listing upgrades. If I eventually decide an item isn't going to sell then I donate it with no regrets.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I sell long tail collectible stuff that can sit for a couple of years before it sells. Everything eventually sells to someone. It just takes time for the right person to come along. I'm in no hurry.

Yes , as I have done that for YEARS, but there needs to be an expiration date as eBay fees just go up and up.
I get 50 free a month not enough to waste relisting low/no sale items.
I am a small seller(a eBay bottom feeder)>hence they care less up SMALL SELLERS
Thanks

I continue to sell on ebay since 2001 all day & night long no problems so its a question of what your selling and if consumers want it. You probably should think about a better selling category. You need to think on a collectors niche where you can build a following of regular buyers, its hard relying on one new buyer every time if your in a competitive category. I currently have 447 following my ebay store and countless others who book mark the link. I get the same buyers week in week out and it makes a big difference as I also get new buyers and buyers who just buy once in the mix. So I recommend looking into a better category that you can build a following.

Non-store sellers in the US have been getting 200 free insertions per month for over a year.

It's been 200 for non-store subscribers since April of last year, and there's nothing that says you can't have 2 accounts if 200 isn't enough.
Maybe ditch the photos with lots of stuff in the background and/or a dark background? When browsing listings I pass right by the ones where the photo doesn't clearly show off the item when I'm scrolling past. I don't want to stop and study a photo to figure out what the item is.

What fees do you have on unsold listings? Are you talking about paying your fees on your sold items?

Upon viewing your lovely items, I agree with @wastingtime101. Your photos ( not all) are very distracting esp the pink flamingo. I found myself viewing items on the floor, the bed coverings etc.
You have very nice old ornate mirrors, paintings, that towel bar is stunning (background distracting). I would revamp your listings, white background, and re-photograph all of the beautiful decorative pieces again. I would in your position obtain some business cards with your ebay ID on them, pictures of your items and visit Interior decorators, higher end shops. You are located in a great area to do this, take advantage of it. My mother was an I.D. and she would have been all over your ornate mirrors big time! Good luck to you! (And don't give up, just revamp!!)

Agree with Silver on the backgrounds........I had trouble on more than one item.......
