So, here's everything that has went down:
A buyer purchased an item from me back on August 11th. The label was printed directly through ebay and automatically uploaded to paypal. Package was picked up on August 13th for shipment as confirmed by my pickup request confirmation e-mail from USPS. Fast forward all the way to December 10th. Now, the buyer has called his financial institution and filed this as an "Unauthorized transaction". So, of course Paypal hits me with the case. I immediately call up Paypal and everything is fine because I obviously qualify for seller protection. Now, come the middle of January, and the funds are missing out of my account again. So, once again, I call up Paypal. This time however, I am no longer eligible for seller protection because the tracking number is no longer valid. Going on 6 months later, that's really no surprise.. Now, there's basically nothing that I can do according to Paypal unless that tracking number magically becomes valid again. So, I guess what i'm saying is, be careful to everyone out there. There's people that really know what they're doing when it comes to scamming sellers. This wasn't a small ticket item either. I doubt there's any way i'm ever going to be able to pay the money back to Paypal plus their $20 fee for getting scammed. Definitely won't be selling anything on Ebay anymore either because of it. I don't think there's anything I can do at this point, so i've come to warn you all.

Your Tracking number should be on your transaction receipt. Enter this number into the usps.com, Track and Confirm Portal and you should see details of delivery. Copy and Paste this information to Paypal.

My tracking number is in this thread. They're no longer valid after 120 days now. You obviously didn't read this thread. You may want to go back and read it. Hopefully it may end up saving you some headache.

Just a wild guess here, but have you tried airing this problem on USPS or pay pal facebook page?

You CAN get online tracking for at least a year when you purchase signature confirmation with your postage. I recommend opening a click n ship account with usps and print your labels directly from there. Then copy and paste tracking into PayPal/eBay as soon as you have it because ebay now requires you to upload tracking before the estimated delivery date to qualify for their INR protection. Btw, I can see my shipping records on my usps account ....with full tracking for at least the last 365 days and maybe past that but I didn’t check past that.

I have a click and ship account and have used it a few times. Mostly for returns. I figured that buying the label with paypal and through Ebay would be the way to go. Obviously not. By the way, mysteriously out of the blue after months of trying, someone higher up at Paypal that is actually located in the United States called me today. I'm really not sure why. This is all I had been asking for for months. Guess what happened? He said he couldn't cover me on this transaction, but what he did do was go back and find a bunch of transactions with fees and refunded the fees on the transactions to at least get my account balance back into the positive. Unfortunately, I had an active balance whenever this happened and I lost all of that money. Also, my account is still owned by collections. So, i'm sure i'll still keep hearing from them. But, they can go screw themselves. At least I have access to my Paypal and can hopefully start making money again finally after all this time. As soon as I find a better way to ship. I really like USPS because they pick up from me during my regular mail deliveries. I'm pretty sure this is a service you have to pay for with everyone else.
