Hi All,
After 14 years on ebay, 500+ 100% positive feedback and 200+ successfully sold items with total almost USD 100 000 got the 'gift' from ebay:
eBay regularly evaluates the accounts of eBay seller. In relation to your account, we have noticed that your account performance and activities may cause a risk to eBay community. To protect the eBay community, we have applied the following restrictions to your eBay account in accordance with the eBay user agreement and eBay policies:
(a) Your selling privileges are restricted. Consequently, you will neither be able to create new listings nor revise your existing listings on any eBay site; and (b) Your payments have been placed on hold.
Restriction reason: High risk selling.
what the **bleep** is going on????!!!!!! Who are the **bleep** ' eBay community'??? Are they customers that were happy to deal with me??? Why they never said that 'unhappy' ???
Or ' eBay community' means owners of ebay??? Probably this it...
Spoke with support but it was the same as to spoke with the table, the result is identical.
No one open case or claim was to me within 14 years, looks like ebay doesn't know the word 'decency', this word was missed in theirs dictionary.
Cheers

Have you canceled any transactions? What does your dashboard say, any defects?

Then the only thing I can think of is your selling from the Ukraine. I know Ebay has restricted sellers from Russia and the Ukraine because of shipping problems.

I'm located in Kiev, Ukraine, probably this restriction is linked to the recent attack by ballistic missile from russia. Most likely ebay thinks that I have a relation to this event

Thats probably it...sorry. Stay safe.

In the 2022 ebay cancelled the fee for all sellers from Ukraine, now they do vise-versa - block sellers from Ukraine, probably this was direct command from Trump 🙂

Oh I doubt that Trump has any influence with Ebay. Ebay calls the shots here.

Does it say you had three cases you resolved?
If buyers were opening too many cases then that might be why you were a high risk. eBay never tells you exactly why. They leave it to you to figure out why.

3 buyers bought wrong items and asked cancel purchases, it was long time ago

you can check my feedback as an seller, that's perfect. I'm sure that's happened because I'm located in Ukraine and because the situation in country became bad, ebay is trying to minimize theirs risks, no one from 'ebay community' can't tell any bad word about me

Your restriction has nothing to do with the recent ballistic missile attack from Russia.
And eBay makes no connection between you and that event.
How long ago were the three cancellations that you mentioned?
What were the items? "High risk selling" can mean a few different things.

A buyer asking to cancel and cases are different.
A "buyer requested" cancellation doesn't show on your dashboard.
In your case, the buyers must have opened claims which to your benefit, you did accept and resolve but they still count against your metrics.

nobody knows why ebay does it, they will never answer you 'WHY', even you ask them 1000 times, so the theory about the missile's attack also can be true
about the order cancellation - last time it was in Feb-2024, two another times probably 2+ years ago, I even can't see them in the selling history

to be objective and evaluate my 'benchmarks' nobody see the reason, excluding ebay
