Account restricted

Hallo🖐. I am new seller. My family member was restricted from ebay because some reasons and now iam want to start selling too. I list some items and everything was fine until today. Ebay send me messages that my account has been restricted because associated with another account (that probably means my family member account) 

its really dont fair. Any way, The quastion is that - If i change my Ip Address, This would be a good way to start all fresh?

You're asking people to help you circumvent Ebay rules..........and that could put them in violation............

If you've been restricted, no matter what the reason, you can no longer sell on eBay. Period.

eBay has many other ways to identify members than just your IP address--name, address, email address, etc., so changing your IP address will not help you now.

As far as eBay is concerned, it's perfectly fair. eBay is attempting to protect buyers from unreliable sellers. It's not eBay's fault your family member got his/her account restricted. You can thank your family member for goofing this up for you.

Yep. Very logical and fair to restrict account because of the IP ADDRESS. This is ridiculous. He does not even live with me anymore. And even my phone and my address is completely different. Yeah, really fair...

Too bad eBay doesn't tell you to protect your account-that if one family member is suspended then everyone in the household gets suspended. 

eBay has suspended the whole dormitory because one student sold counterfeits. If you sign in eBay from a computer at work and the cleaning crew or other employees check their eBay messages on it, and one gets suspended everyone gets suspended.  I think that's taking it too far but that's eBay for you.

Or does one of the two accounts belong to the "family member" whose account got restricted first?

How do we know or Ebay know that YOU didn't get suspended and trying to use another name to keep selling. Sorry but it makes prefect sense for Ebay to ban all using the same computer. If you really want to complain do that against the family member who violated Ebay policy forbidding you to sell here.
