I got an email saying my account was restricted from selling anything else, no reason given.
I can no longer list any items on ebay or change quantities of existing listings.
I have nearly perfect metrics across the board and have no communications anywhere other than that email that would explain a limited account.
Any ideas?

All new sellers have selling limits just so they can get a little established, no early problems too fast etc. The limit used to be $500 a month but I'm not sure that's written in stone.
You kind of dove off the deep end with large, expensive, "no returns" items which is risky. ebay doesn't want any problems right out of the gate. Did you actually have all these items and ship them yourself? Seller-Refurbished would imply that. If not, that's a whole other ball game. You use all stock pics, why?
Take a breath, slow down and after a awhile you can request a higher limit. Most of us I think kind of "grow" into it. You are moving a LOT of stuff for just starting in April.
There's red flags.
Good luck~

I understand the limit. I don't understand "permanently restricted from selling because of activity putting the eBay community at risk". What is weirder is that we are still shipping and fulfilling items that are being sold.
We also still have room in our monthly limit - which is even more confusing.
It's all a bit murky.

You said you got a email or did it come through the ebay message system?

Yes Lucky, however there is no indication of what that activity is or how to prove that I am not engaged in it.

They have not asked for anything unfortunately, as we would be able to provide the information immediately.
We sell tens of thousands of fans a year, so we have a large amount of open box returns. That's the reason for the multiples and stock photos.

Email only. There is nothing in the message system, no message anywhere in the hub, and account metrics are all listed as Above Standard.

Following, for the weirdness. 🤔

I totally believe you. The problem is that being a new seller, you sold a lot of high end items (the cooler for $1200) right away. I know the fans are not particularly a high priced item. Ebay watches and keeps new sellers under their radar to protect the buyer and the community as a whole.

You sold 2 of the 24" Orange Fan yet you have 10 written feedbacks from a 24" Orange Fan; how is that possible?

But why would they "PERMANENTLY" punish him, and cite "activity putting the community at risk"?
The new seller stuff you're talking about is the equivalent of speed bumps to prevent people driving too fast. What he's describing is like the cops seizing his car because it's a model that could go too fast, but he didn't, because he couldn't, because there were speed bumps. So what did he DO wrong??

Not sure why it says 2. We've sold roughly 33 of them.
