ANOTHER GLITCH...No sale notification

I sold an item last night around 9 pm. As of this moment, I have still not received an email notification of any kind. It showed up much later under the little bell on my home page as waiting to be paid. It was a buy it now item...waiting for payment? They paid immediately! Then it showed up  in another location as waiting to be shipped.  Good thing I check various locations in the hub for sales, shipping, etc. or I might have a real unhappy buyer. smh

Check daily on seller hub otherwise this could be a problem for missing sales and buyers with questions.

Another thing is to have the phone app Android/iPhone if possible as you get alerts from the app.

Depending on emails is just asking for problems.........  Some (from anywhere) just don't make it.  checking Ebay daily is the only way to be sure you keep up.........congrats on realizing that.......

This ^^^^^

 

We use the mobile app in tandem. 

 

And we never rely on the "bell".  Our "bell" still shows orders to be processed that were sent last week.  Another glitchy mess!

Yes use mobile app and eBay website in tandem

 

I guess I should have said if you are a seller and know you have items for sale/auction you MUST check you're account at a minimum daily, never rely on notifications

The problem with this is many sellers use multiple IDs and the app only allows for notifications under 1 account. 

 

I also recently had the same issue as the OP.  NEVER received email, not in spam, nowhere. Something is going on with ebay, but that's par for the course.

That is why I also stated that if you are a seller and have items for sale it is you're responsibility to check  accounts for sales/questions/other account business

 

There really is never any excuse for "never got email"

So what is ebay's excuse? Of course, I do not rely on ebay to do their job correctly. That would be foolish. I check several times daily.  This time it wasn't even right in my hub. Said one thing in one area, another in a different hub area.

Yes, the bell is useless. But this was different things in different locations in my hub for the item. What a mess.

Don't wait for an eBay excuse or any "glitch" notices

 

You sell you need to check you're account, no excuses on that sorry

I have NEVER relied on ebay to email me. I check numerous times per day. But EBAY needs to have proper notifications in the hub and this time it showed different things in different sections. One not paid, one said paid, another showed no sale at all. Ebay is a MESS!

I was not making excuses. I was pointing out an issue.. I would not presume to wait on ebay for anything. That, as I have previously said,  would be foolish.

Yes things are messy but not checking a seller account is never an excuse

Seen it to many times where a seller stated "never got  a notice"

 

Always check seller account daily or multiple times a day

This has been happening intermittently for 2 weeks now.

So Sorry.  Misunderstood what you were saying then.  I do not rely on e-Bay messages or the Bell.

 

The use of the mobile app to use in tandem with Seller Hub is an excellent one.  If one is wonky, seems the other is not.. Coastal's suggestion UP thread is a great one!
