I am beyond frustrated with this AI. AI keeps kicking my listings into a folder of policy violation. It says I shared personal contact information or put links to personal information to sell outside of Ebay. I have not done that. I have called three times to Ebay and all their departments say that I have not done anything wrong and that there is nothing against me however it keeps doing it. I can't revise or relist them. I can't see my listings. I don't know what to revise in them because I did nothing wrong and I have lost quite a bit of listings. Now, I have to call for the 4th time and will most likely not get revolved. Has this happened to anyone?

If you copied and pasted information from another source, it can have code buried in it.

Might try retyping the information, then delete the copy/pasted info.

Also, AI does not see spaces so could be combing words.

@wildcherrypink

Can you please explain how you are preparing your listings?

Are you using eBay's wretched AI feature?

Or are you copying and pasting AI generated text from outside eBay?

I looked at a few of your listings and the only possibility I saw is one had a City state and zip code in the description,

the bots are looking for addresses, phone numbers and email addresses and they are not very good at it

so avoid @ and com and a any numbers that look like a phone number

That is on a pick up only and i put that because people do not read to see where it is located. After spending hours on the phone with Ebay, they said I did nothing wrong. I don't have links and I don't have a address. I don't have many that are a pick up. They say that I said I am saying to sell outside of Ebay and that is false.  This is just unbelievable.They have put these listing where I can't access them.

No, I didn't copy and paste. All my listing have the same information in them and they are only flagging some of them. I can't see my listing they flagged.

No, I am not using AI to do anything. I have been a seller since 2002 and I have not changed the way I list.

The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.

Thanks for the reply. No one here can see what those listings may or may not contain so all we can do is make suggestions we are other buyers and sellers not eBay employees. If the wording in the description was the reason they were pulled, can you give an example of the exact wording in the description of one that was pulled?

Are you by any chance using sell one like it?

Sorry, I misunderstood.  Now I see what you are talking about.

AI recently misidentified something I had listed as belonging to the US Government and removed the listing, but gave me an option to appeal, which was successful.

Are you being given that option?

You may be inadvertently juxtaposing numbers and letters in a way that AI sees as suspicious.

Have you tried to check the page source? (Right click on the item page, then view page source)? perhaps there is something buried in there.

@wildcherrypink

As @bashort suggested, any zip codes or city names in the description would cause

eBay to think that you are trying to sell outside of eBay.  The item location is already named near the beginning of the listing so you should take out any other references to location.

But the 4 listings that offer local p/u and show that city/state/ zip info are still up, so doesn't seem that is the issue.....................

Well, There is no link to sell outside of Ebay. My name address or phone number is not in the listing. I talked to Ebay and four different people and they said I did nothing wrong. Yes, it  shows at the shipping but people don't read. I am wondering how you are able to see the listings that they took down and I can't.

Also, I just checked one of the listings they stopped and there is no city state or zip code listed. I can view them but can't change anything.
