I finally managed to change my password which wasn't working on my computer for eBay.
I clear history on my computer every day...doesn't everyone?
I needed my iPhone to get the text numbers in my emails to add a new password on the computer eBay app. which sends the numbers.
I see so much confusion going on and no one knowing what's going on.
Today I assume will be a NO SALES day.
I am thinking of looking at auctions since some bidders might not be online. LOL.
Could be a great day for auctions!
If it's not one thing it's another.
Without a cellphone and my new computer has safari on it: how does one have ebay sign in app. and email app up at the exact time? I tried with the 15 minute limit and it would not work changing from one page to another.
I guess I'll take tomorrow off with no sales. LOL.

This week has been pretty quiet here (some sales, but lots of them are for very low value things). Most of my sales happened last Sunday with the auctions.
We have all sorts of house guests here this week until Sunday, and it's making it difficult to work in packing orders while not ignoring my guests. I figure if there's fewer sales it's less time packing orders.
I'm gearing up for my next round of time away, so all I'm concerned about is running the auctions for the quick stuff that I can ship right away. I think I have 5 or 6 weeks before I'll shut down for a month.

Well, no.
But are you talking about eBay texting you a code?
Anyway, I had one sale - my sales are totally up and down and seem to lag my listing binges by about three days. 😖

Just curious.
Logged in or not, how would that affect sales?
Customers have no idea if you're logged in or not.

Apparently not everyone needs to add a new password.
EBay hasn't made such a request from me.
Sales pretty average for me today.
What was odd. On Monday holiday I got a lot of sales but they were all organic.
Maybe they will hit me late with promo fees but it's extremely odd for me to have so many with no ad fees.

I laughed audibly when I read that, it's funny, but true.
I expect the OP was talking about the customers having trouble logging in to buy stuff... if the customers can't log in, they can't purchase.

Because customer accounts will have the same issues logging in as everyone else.

Not to hit on my wonderful older clientele...but they tend to clear their history probably a lot.
And some have only a computer and no cellphone...my wife doesn't have one...she's cheap...so she took mine today for business.
I actually thought my computer or eBay account got hacked because I couldn't log in...and seeing someone else in the discussion forum made me relax.
Some buyers are figuring why they can't log in and buy on eBay...
Did it get fixed so now buyers can log in? Will it happen again?
I changed my password to get into eBay because I couldn't get in online.
Yes...I was looking at auctions...but I couldn't bid at the last minute during that time.

I was ribbing you a bit on the clearing history - some do and some don't. I find doing it a lot to be a real pain, but I have a bunch of search strings on this account. On another account I do clear my history.
eBay needs a new roll of duct tape, maybe.

So you just power down the machine.

Why assume because they are having a problem signing in that that means that others are having the same issue? I'm not sure I get the connection.
