Hello
I sold a software in a cd form and shipped it to the buyer. He filed a return request claiming the software is not working. On the return chat only proof he provided was telegram chat logs(off ebay) that prove nothing,he didnt even show the problem with the software what ebay is going to do?we are talking about a software worth 500€.I already reported him to the return request chat because he was not addressing the issue and he is just trying to cheat the system.Answers are appreciated

At this point using the return request thing is just a cheat.I have on the description that i dont accept returns only if is not described and the man says the software is defective how is this possible
As others have already noted you should have just accepted the return, paid for the return shipping label and refunded the buyer. Stating you do not accept returns in your listing does NOT translate to no refunds.
If eBay steps in as others have noted you are going to loose, eBay will fully refund the buyer, still charge you the FVF's, allow the buyer to keep the software and ding your account. One thing most sellers learn VERY quickly is eBay favors the buyer in most cases where it's a he said, she said situation. You may want to review and re-read the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

What everyone is trying to tell you here, is that if you refuse the return, ebay will rule in FAVOUR of the buyer. The buyer will be refunded by ebay, and will NOT have to return your software, and your account will get a defect. The chances the buyer will be refunded are 99.9%. You can appeal the decision until hell freezes over and it will change nothing. If you accept, the buyer returns your software and gets a refund. This is by far the lesser of two evils. Any no returns policy on your part is IMMEDIATELY null and void the moment a buyer opens a not as described case.

You should be aware that eBay customer support has become abysmal and they will tell you what you want to hear just to get you off the phone even if that means lying to you.

You can have a No Returns policy.
This is useful for ,as an example, a glass seller, who does not want to pay to get back a box of shattered glass.
You cannot have a No Refunds policy.
If the buyer is unhappy, they get a refund.
It's called the MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.
However.
Even with a No Returns policy, the seller can demand the return of the product before refundind.
They will have to pay for the return.
But they will be refunding when the product is returned.

If buyer has asked Ebay to step in, it's probably to late for you.

We also know that if the communications are by Telegraph, the item is questionable.
They had two other sold items earlier, but Ebay has already removed them.

If you wait for Ebay to handle the return, you won't get the item back and they will keep their fee's.

I don't think the OP understands what everyone is trying to tell him.

There is nothing in eBay policy that requires a buyer to give evidence to a seller about a "Not as described" dispute.
From reading this board I suspect that if eBay steps in, then ...

The days of refusing (and fighting) a return request went out the window over ten years ago. Ebay customer service has been outsourced and inept for just as long.
You should have just gotten the item back, relisted and resold it.

Yes, that's apparent. I believe we have all provided the best replies. Time to let them make up their mind and for us move on to other pressing topics, like selling coconuts. 😆

Unfortunately, what they were selling was encouraging illegal activity and eBay pulled all their listings.
