* well I should be sleeping - been up since 2:30 AM my usual time.  '44 models don't need much sleep.  But  I do start counting sheep  early - haven't stayed up to see the Apple Drop in Times Square in eons.  But  do watch the New Years celebration with the folks "Down Under" - it happens about 8:00 am ET time and is really nice.  We enjoy a tall cool Virgin Screw Driver w/Eggs Benedict and Strawberry Fitzgerald Crepes for two  (me & my newer wife of 38+ years  (I make 'em).   There was a time when we howled at the moon on New Years.
