Hi Folks, I finally killed off my 200 free listings, last day to finish off the free 50. Now with 34 left each time I try to list it ends with the dreaded 35 cent fee! Say what?! Trying on laptop & PC for hours, both telling me I have to pay. Is it just me??

So did ANYONE check your invoice to see if you were actually charged? As previously suggested?

Yes. I already contacted the help center. They are aware of the issues. Let's hope they get it fixed before the end of the night. I suggest creating listings and saving as draft and checking back to see if it gets fixed. Ebay time is PST, so I have until 3:00 AM EST. Hopefully it won't be that long.

the way the 35 cent fee reads is - we will be charged that fee IF the item sells. So unless someone sold their item very soon tonight after listing it, they are the ones to check the invoice. For the rest of us, guess we'll have to wait & fight with eBay later.

Happened to me as well. I have 23 of my 50 free listings left, but when I went to list some books tonight, .35 cent insertion fee appeared. I didn't list. Refreshed page to see if it was an error, but it wasn't. Tried a different book. Same thing -- .35 cent insertion fee. I'll check back in an hour or so and see if it's still the same. I wanted someone to know. Thanks.

It's not just you, I have 26 listings left and when I try to list an item, I see the 35 cent fee as well. What is going on?

I'm trying, it's a 38 minute wait.

I am having same issue - on my second chat right now. I have 9 listings left but cannot use them and cannot reach eBay by phone and chat is telling me that it is happening to a lot of sellers but offering no solution.

I was listing items and had well over 100 to go and all of a sudden, the free listings went away. It's trying to charge me the .35 per item too. I see that all the rest of my free listings are gone too. Arrrggghhhh! They have really screwed up on this one!

Looks like I am not the only one. Spent a bunch of time taking pictures of items to list as I have / had 38 remaining free inserts and noticed as I went to list the first item that it had the $.35 charge showing. Currently waiting on a connection for the online chat - showing "We will be with you in 49 minutes"...
Not was I was looking forward to with trying to get items listed before the end of the day and before needing to call it an evening...

I came on today to use mine and all 50 are gone and I still supposedly had the rest of the day to use them. They must have coded it until midnight july 30th but that is not what the promotion said and now the promotion isnt even showing in the expired promotions tab.

Yes, I listed one item and was charged 35 cents. I got gypped out of the entire 50 for one account, the other accounts still show the 50 section, this one is wiped clean.

I've got the same problem as well. Most of my listings ended earlier today and I wanted to use my last 9 free listings I have to relist some of my stuff and it wants to charge me .35 each. I'm not going to trust that they'll manually refund the charges so I guess I lose the last of my free listings this month. I can't make sense of the charges I get on the free listings so there's no way I would know for sure if they did manually refund me the charges.

I just spent last half hour or more with eBay chat. I gave them each of my item numbers that were charged 35 listing fee and they gave me credit on each and every one. I did eight total. I did check and all credits went through, so there is a solution although very annoying and time consuming eBay did make it right.

I still had 28 free listings and got charged $0.35.
I placed less items on auction because of this.
This year has just been a mess.

well I did get through on eBay chat, but unfortunately got stuck with someone who had no clue how these free listings worked and kept trying to tell me that the free 200 listing promo was in place of my free monthly allotment of 50. After about 20 minutes of arguing I finally got the fees removed from my account.
