3 MINUTES WARNING!

IMG_2834.JPG

Let me start by saying that as a long time seller and buyer I found the vast, vast majority of people I dealt with to be civil and fair. I just couldn't stop laughing when I read the second message from this buyer. The irony is that this buyer is also a seller and bid on this item 6 days earlier and won it at the minimum starting bid of $5.99. Hope you get a kick out of it as well.

3 MINUTES WARNING!

That's impressive.  I don't block often or quickly, but they would definitely be on my Best Buddies List right after that.

It never ceases to amaze me the types of customers we run across on our Ebay journey.

It could be their cat's offspring kitten.

Report it/them to eBay for feedback extortion.

I can not teach anybody anything
I can only make them think

The one who hangs around in dark alleys and yowls menacingly in the darkest night.

Here are your messages. "You have 30 minutes to move your car", "you have 10 minutes to move your car", "your car has been impounded", "your car has been crushed into a cube", "you have 30 minutes to move your cube".

I confront people who do stuff like this. I had one send me a message and then follow up half an hour later when I didn't respond. I told them I didn't answer them because I was sleeping. I'll outright tell them what other priorities I have that keep me from the computer (work, sleep, family time...)

Of course I'd honour the request to cancel, but I'd call them on the threat to leave a negative when you didn't cancel within 3 minutes.

3 MINUTES WARNING!

What kind of a grandparent leaves a phone or computer around a child without enabling a lock screen?

It would be a shame if clever little Johnny got into Grandma's listings and started reducing prices.

The kind that hands their phone to a kid so they can play a game or watch a video to keep them entertained and occupied, but they don't monitor to see the kid tapped around to a different app.

I always see parents hand their phone to kids in checkout lines, on public transit, in waiting rooms, or wherever.
