People search new listings. Everyone else is posted when listed. Now my 24 delay means when it is finally listed it will be 15 pages back from those who search new listings. Ebay - why does someone who has sold over 1,000 high dollar high income items for Ebay get treated like an irrelevant id..t when others selling $2 garbage don't get "indexed"? I am about done with this **bleep**.

It does not matter how many sales you have or for how much you sold them for. Your no different then any other seller in your category.

what "24 delay"? Never heard of it but I do not normally do auctions

It can take up to 24 hours for items to index. It doesn't matter if is an auction or fixed price. It also makes no difference if you sell $1.00 worth of items or $10k worth of items it will take up to 24 hours.
Its in Finding a listing in Help & Contact

if ebay is too stupid to not index Top Sellers then its time to find a new selling platform.

i never misspell. i don't use profanity in my listings if ebay can't prioritize TOP SELLERS then it's time to find a new selling platform.

The words you use in your listing can trigger the 24 hour delay.
I sell gun catalogs, price lists and repair manuals among a great many other things.
When I list one, I get the 24 hour delay because Ebay checks to make sure I am not selling guns.
I have no idea whether "spear" will trigger the day, but it might.

FYI Not everyone searches for new listings. I search for what I'm looking for. I don't care when it was listed, today or last week.

I'm a Top Rated Seller, my items index just like anyone else's. Why should you be any different?

"... if ebay can't prioritize TOP SELLERS then it's time to find a new selling platform."
You appear to be pretty dug in against 'OSFA/24 hrs.' We can't fault you for checking other venues. Good luck.

id prefer ebay wake up and treat 24 year customers with Top Seller status and generally decent selling prices better than some new guy selling 20 five dollar items. And....I find it interesting that not only are ebay employees in here answering questions pretending to be peers but that they also so smuggly tell 24 year customers good riddance....

eBay treats everyone equally badly. Top Rated Sellers do get some privileges, but timely indexing isn't one of them.
IIRC, scheduled listings often show up right away; apparently they get indexing attention before they're launched. So try that: set up your listing as a Scheduled listing 24 hours or more in advance. There is no longer any fee for using Scheduler.

There are no SECRET eBay workers here; eBay employees are obvious when they come into a thread.
You need to understand:
a.) Ebay is a system, not a person looking at your listings.
b.) items take UP TO 24 hours. Mine have always shown within 10 minutes.
c.) There are BILLIONS of listings with MILLIONS sold, ended, started EVERY Day.
d.) If this site were to use your system of 'bigger sellers first' you would be the 135,499,356th person in line compared to all the MILLIONS of sellers that sell 1000+ items a day (compared to your less than 1 average (56 in 90 days) per day)

@mtgraves7984 - this must be for you... LOL
eBay employee pretending to be peers.
Hopefully you get paid well...
Another poster who assumes that everyone who posts correct policy and doesnt agree with them is an employee... SMH!!
