Did you mean:

2020-01-26 USPS First Class Package Mailing Rates Only Go to 13 Oz.

USPS increased mailing rates go into effect this upcoming Sunday.  The revised first class rates are denoted here: https://pe.usps.com/text/dmm300/Notice123.htm#_c037

The first class rates only go to 13.0 ounces.   Does this mean packages 13.1-15.9 ounces will not be permitted to ship via first class any longer?

Thanks,

Brad

There is a 13 to 15.9999 ounces category in the commercial rates. Are you looking at the "retail" rates? It seems this was the situation with the increase last year too.

Good news: Your link goes to the section for RETAIL rates, which do indeed go up to only 13 ounces.  But for several years, the ONLINE rate goes up to 15.999 ounces, and that is still true:

(Note: the linked page has the rates for flats at the top and then scroll down to see the package rates.)

Retail first class rates have never gone over 13 ounces - that is for commercial rates only.
