Maybe I'll do some auction drafts and get them ready before I activate it in April.

At least this is good for auctions too, whereas the big promo is only for fixed price.

I suspect that's why store subscribers also got the promo.

It would have been better to just do a promo for auction listings only I think but maybe this wasn't meant to go to stores anyway.
Why? I like it on my store to get the auctions and I like it on my non-store for both. Do we really have to look for fault with everything?

Seems to be the nature with everything around here, no matter what the offer it's not the right kind, not enough, too much, too late, too early, unfair etc. etc. etc.
eBay isn't like some, demanding to be appreciated (or else) but it sure doesn't do much for the status of sellers in general that so many seem to be so ungrateful for any assistance.
Into your life it will creep

As soon as I saw the title of this thread I thought "Cue complaints in 3...2...1..." 😐

Jeez. I was just saying that auctions only would have been better as if stores activate it, it will use them all up as FP before you can get to auctions.
I don't believe I was "finding fault", just saying what MIGHT have been better.

Are we not allowed to even post an opinion here anymore?
Thanks for the heads up.

Logged in about 20 minutes later and found out eBay gave me the 200 free auction/fp promo. It's strange that they would be giving out 200 in addition to the 50 free per month. Hopefully, most sellers without a store subscription received the promo. Every little bit helps. Thank you, eBay.

OP said non-store and in addition to the 50 free.

Of course you can post your opinion just as others are allowed to critique those opinions and/or offer their own.

I think eBay should contact each seller individually to find out what they need and tailor promos and freebies for each. All fixed price for some, all auctions for others, a mix of both for those that want more flexibility. Some sellers would probably prefer a few freebie listings and reduced final value fees to go with them, some might be better to opt for a one year deferral on all fees or maybe a one month waiver of fees, others could talk to their accountant and see if a simple interest free loan for 6 months from eBay would help them. Anyone with stale listings should be able to have eBay purchase those listings and donate them to people in need or force a different seller to sell them on consignment. Limiting freebies and promos in any way shows a complete indifference to sellers. Shame on eBay!!!
