10% Unrecognized Transaction Rate on one specific item

We've sold a lot of model glue the last 2 months.  Most of the time the buyer does not match the shipping address.  We've gotten probably 20 Unrecognized Transaction cases open right now.  Anyone know why this might be?

The buyers probably don't recognize the transactions because they're high.

Huffers are unreliable?

Presume you know how to deal with the chargeback claims? (all winnable)

I'm curious if it actually matters to you since this is covered by seller protections as long as your item was delivered to the address on the order.

This sounds like a repost....this you have this problem before?

Hopefully, they are buying models for the glue

Not all. Based on information collected from the CC companies the merchant/seller has about a 50/50 chance of winning a chargeback. Those percentages are different depending on the reason for the chargeback.

I am not real clear on what you mean. Are you saying you sold items and the buyers registered address is different than their shipping address? I am gathering the CC holder is the one that has opened the CC chargebacks. Possibly stolen CC or hacked account. Generally eBay handles these without seller input since they have all the information regarding the purchase unless you did/do not have tracking shown for the orders.

When you look at the buyer's user name, it also has their actual name the account is registered to.  The person that I am shipping it to doesn't match that name.  I may have 5 orders in a night with the same account, going to 5 different people.

I posted when we sold our first 11 in 20 minutes wondering if it was a scam.  That was before all of the unrecognized transaction cases, and before we had sold 180 in 45 days.
