I sold a item on ebay the buyer paid for the item on ebay. the buyer lives real close to me (seller).

We decided to do a local pick up . It went smoothly but we could not figure out how to show the item was picked up. the buyer left a note on feedback . I left a marked as shipped. we did write up a receipt and signed it . It shows that the buyer paid for the item on ebay. It does not show that the item was picked up.

It was the first time i ever sold on ebay. What do i do? Money is on hold. I could not find a phone number

You'll have to wait out the 30 days (or however long eBay decides) for the hold to be released.

Next time you want to use local pickup, revise your listing to remove shipping and add pickup, then when the buyer picks up you'll be able to scan the buyer's QR code from eBay to confirm pickup.

What if you dont know if it will be shipped or local pick up untill its sold

The buyer can file a cancellation request and you can relist with local pickup.

Otherwise you have no proof of delivery and no proof the item was picked up (feedback doesn't count) so if the buyer files a non-receipt claim you are on the hook for refunding in full. Hopefully your buyer is honest.
