eBays New Messaging System is terrible am I missing something ?

As a Seller who communicates ALOT with my buyers the new system is absolutely terrible. No way to flag a message anymore no search function anymore ? I was already forced over on the mobile app and I always flagged answered messages on there then would come home and followup etc.. But the classic view and mobile view DO NOT work well together at all. So I switched to the new system on desktop as well but realized there is no search function... Looking for others input maybe I am missing something.

I can't even read my messages as pop up user agreement site menu and Google translate boxes come up and cover the message page. Crap it really is!

I'm on the phone with CS now, I was able to opt out of the new message system, now I'm defaulted with no opt out. I don't wear readers, but will have to to read this and then to read the right side of the page, will have to take them off...this is a horrible change, I don't know why they would do this...nothing you can do to change it back they say.  Please give negative feedback at the bottom of the page!!!

Almost every change ebay makes is terrible. They have been doing that for many years. Just expect ebay to always get worse and worse and....

The new system does not have the functionality to send offers to buyers. The option shows up in my email but I click on send offer and it pushes me into the new garbage system that is missing that function. I have many other complaints about the new system but this is actually a missing function.

The new messaging foisted upon sellers is horrendous. eBay is now run mostly by young people who think the entire corporation can be run with virtually no customer service, and by catering to the masses who have only smart phones. The new message system is totally geared toward being a smart phone feature, and not intended for viewing with desktop computer use. Try being a seller in posting your listings with just a smart phone. That is not at all smart. At least eBay eventually learned that they could not run all their customer service with a dumb chat box algorithm or AI.   Let your voices be heard.

Ha, came on here to see what people are saying about the new messaging system...yup everyone hates it! Big F up, it puts all your messages in 'conversation mode', and it only shows times, not dates! What the ??? Seriously, is anyone at Ebay reading this, the new messaging sucks ! Let us choose which one we want AND/OR allow some setting so we can set it the way we like it, think Gmail,  'conversation mode OFF'. It's difficult to read the history of a conversation to boot, and teenie tiny print. 
HATE IT!

It does show dates. It shows the date in the middle of the screen, then below that all timestamps on either side for each message corresponding to that date.

The "send offer" button is at the top but will only appear when both the listing and potential buyer are eligible to receive an offer.

You never said what specifically is problematic for you, but I suggest you use the link on the bottom right of the messages page, "updated messaging feedback," to submit your comments to eBay. Be specific about what's not working. Comments like "it's horrendous" don't tell the product developers what you want changed. Example: If font size is too small, say that.

Updated messaging is complete garbage. There must some very potent stupid water at ebay.
