Workaround to get back to the Older Version of the eBay Listing Platform

I have found a workaround "solution" that I will be using until the time that eBay decides to add the option to revert to the old posting system.

This workaround only adds an additional three "clicks" of the mouse, which if you ask me is a great tradeoff for not having to use the time-wasting new listing interface.

This is how I do it.

Click 1:

Much like many of you I use "Sell Similar" on already sold items for my listings. I click "Sell Similar" under the item and it takes me to the godawful new listing tool.

Click 2:

In another window, I already am at the bulk listing option for ebay, the specific link is:
https://bulksell.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SingleList&forcetool=CUB&&guest=1&guest=1
I change my tab to this tab and hit refresh. At the top under "Latest Drafts" the item I had clicked for "Sell Similar" is already in there. 

Click 3:

I simply click "Resume" next to the draft I wish to complete and there is my old friendly listing interface, prefilled with all the information, ready for my pictures and prices.

Hope this all works for you in the time being! And fingers crossed it isn't removed!

Wow- great work-a-round!    I always use sell similar as well and that the tradition link that people are using to get back to the classic lister did not work in that manner. I'll try that today.

It is a shame to have to go through the rigmarole to just get a decent listing tool though lol! 

with 18 months of forced using the new tool...... i am getting accustomed to it- its still slower, irritating , and inefficiently frustrating.  In absolutely no way is it an improvement over the classic but i can list again, albeit at a much slower rate.

At ebay's traditional pace- it may take a few more years to get the tool to a point that it is at least on par with the clasisc tool- at least we can hope.

This is awesome. Thank you. I'm so tired of the new tool reverting what I just typed in a "sell similar" listing, it just undoes whatever I type in certain fields, not always, a few seconds after I tab out. It has resulted in so many revisions to the errors I catch, and untold errors in my listings that I didn't catch. And it's changing important stuff like weights and starting prices!!

I think we are al having the same issues! its not consistent at all. sometimes what you type sticks, other times it does not , or it put something completely different in.   I cant even imagine what kind of back end programming is so fickle and unstable.....

     All i know for sure is that listings contain way more errors and total new listings have dropped drastically, directly because of all these issues- not to mention the mobile UI that is clumsy and awkward on a desktop.

     Maybe next they will force us to use dot matrix printers again with the paper with the little holes all down the sides!! LOL
