Since it was in BETA, eBay has been promising Offsite Ads (now "Promoted Offsite") would allow us to limit what items we advertise (so we can filter what is included in promotions by item or/and value).
I don't see any changes to Offsite Ads in the 2024 Summer Seller Update announcement, except the name.
I tried Offsite Ads for 7-8 months. Spent a ton (ads cost 25% of the $ sales it generated, plus had to pay eBay fees). Terrible ROI because I wasn't able to set click-bid and cheap items would be advertised, that weren't worth it.
Last week, I paused Offsite Ads in disgust and frustration. We will not start them again until we have control. It's wasteful as it is.
Please, ADD A FILTER to what items are included in Promoted Offsite!!! How hard is that?!
