Should I not waste my time with Video Uploads? Does it EVER work?

I have been able to upload a few videos, but it seems like this feature FAILS more often than not.

Im talking like 20 second videos in mp4 format.

I have a customer issue right now - that I would not have - if I could use the video upload feature consistently.
