After I answer a question from a Buyer on an item Seller Hub still shows that item on the "with questions" line on the Listing tile.
-When I click on the item "with questions" it opens
-When I click on the "Mark as answered" choice the next page is a Password page
-The Password page fails every time I try to get past it
-So I can not mark the question as answered (even though I have already ANSWERED the question)

I have notcied some problems with answering questions or messaging
I treat this topic the same as I do for estimated delivery dates
ebay changes things around to suit there own needs and trying to pin down rhyme or reason for it is futile

@mr_lincoln Usually, when you select the "Marked As Answered" option on the drop down next to the item, ebay doesn't send you to another page, instead, the seller hub active listings page should refresh. Don't know why it's sending you to another page, that is odd.

@1tuna I don't think it is them suiting their own needs, I think it is their lack of oversight on following a change in their programming all the way through AND what affects one change in one area may have in other areas.

@nuclearomen That is correct AND it has worked like that at times ... then at other times I get this issue. Let me throw this in ... they are moving towards a new Listing Tool that will go live sometime in the not too distant future. So, the "Sell" link / button in the upper right hand corner of the page keeps jumping around and it's color changing ... here are the three that I see on a regular basis.

I have to go to the actual transaction and tell it the question is answered.
The ONLY time it works to satisfy, is if you answer the question with an offer. Then "magically" it is satisfied as "answered".

@mr_lincoln yes, I have seen that also, every few days it has changed lately...but...lol, I don't use that link, ever, when I list, i go to Seller Hub, Listings, Active Listings and select "Create Listing" on the upper right corner, select "Single Listing" and then I choose from templates. It's easier for me.
As for the new listing tool, it's already implemented and in beta for while now, some have been using it, anyone (last I n\knew) can opt into it when you go create a listing on the top right of the listing tool there was a link, I ignore it...but eventually everyone will have to use the new listing tool. I've heard mixed reports on it, but that it was slowly getting better, apparently the new tool all sections are like slide out modules.
