Update: Because we are transitioning from File Exchange to Seller Hub Reports, we are no longer raising File Exchange limits, and ask you to instead upload files to Seller Hub Reports: https://www.ebay.com/sh/reports/uploads

Seller Hub Reports has the same size limits of 14.9MB, and 150,000 lines per file that existed in File Exchange.

As for the daily upload limits with Seller Hub Reports, we have an upper limit set to ensure all sellers have the best experience and to protect our systems from abuse. Our daily limit is set to be high on purpose and subject to change, however most sellers won’t reach the limit. If anyone believes they have reached the limit, they can reply to this thread or reach out to us at turbodata@ebay.com, as noted below, for assistance.

Hi,

I would like to increase my limit. Not sure why, but on satuday nite I tried using the verifyadd and when done to upload on sunday, I was blocked. today still blocked. file has 200 items to list.

Thanks for posting.

I've increased your File Exchange limit, as requested, effective immediately. However, even our default limit of 5,000 should have been fine with this file, so I suspect there may be issues on the file itself, like hard returns in the description. You can remove hard returns in Excel using these steps:

In spreadsheet press CTRL+F
Click the Replace tab
Click the Find What field
Hold CTRL on your keyboard and press J. (Can also be done by holding ALT on keyboard and press 0-1-0 on number pad.)
A blinking dot should appear
Click Replace all

Hello,

I would like to have my upload limit increased. I am now dealing with variations on my products and with 376 products having 84 variations each, I can't upload it. It's a 32251 line excel file with just my variation category not including anything else. It's only 2.2MB And I know it's a good file, I've been using Exchange for a long time.

I uploade the file and looks like about half were sussess and half failure.

Error Code 21920202

Error - You have exceeded your maximum call limit of 500 for 5 seconds. Try back after 5 seconds.|500|5 seconds|5 seconds|

Any thoughts?

Hi Colin,

Thanks for posting, I'm sorry to hear you're running into this error.

This particular message is triggered when the file is trying to process too much data too quickly, which can happen if your file has a large number of lines. You can usually get around this by splitting your file into multiple smaller files, and waiting a few minutes between each upload.

Give that a try, and let me know if it is still present on smaller files, so I can look into it further.

Hello!

Been trying to update some listings. Not sure what my daily limit is but seem to have exceeded it. Can we increase the limit to say 50K? That should help avoid issues in the future.
