Please advise the correct way to end the automatic relisting option for an active item. I saw several different ways to end the auto relist, but either the dropdown option doesn't appear or the box to check isn't there, either.
Please help.
Thank you,
KL

Not sure where you "saw several different ways" but there is no way to end automatic re-listing without ending the listing permanently (and then re-list it manually if you wish). This pertains to buy it now items.

You can't turn that off.
It auto-renews every month.
You can manually "end the listing" any time you want.
You can also use the "out of stock" option.
Using this option lets you set your quantity to "0".
It keeps your listing alive/active.
Note: When the quantity is zero, you item does not turn up on search results.
When you're ready to sell again, just change your quantity to 1 or more.

Hello, I have the same problem. there is NO selection for stopping the auto-relist, when i click the menu i get 4 options, here they are, REVISE, SHARE LISTING, SEE TRAFFIC HISTORY, END LISTING, there is NO option to stop auto-relist. AND as we all know if you STOP / END the listing you get charged... NOT HAPPY.

There is no fee to cancel a fixed price listing.

Correction. There is no fee to END a fixed price listing.

Does anyone know how the month is calculated - is it calendar month / a set number of days / or what?? I want to end my listing before it auto-renews (if not sold obvs) so need to know...

If you're worried about it counting to your monthly limit, as you list your item this disclaimer appears from eBay: "Auctions will be automatically relisted up to 8 times for free and do not count towards your monthly listings balance."
Still frustrating that I can't control whether my item relists, based on this thread. Mine is an auction, not fixed price. Does that change anything?

I'm having the same issue. I do NOT want my auctions to auto relist. This is such a terrible feature. Is there a fee for ending an auction with no bids? I can't understand why eBay doesn't allow sellers to control if an auction relists. Just plain terrible on their behalf.

I have the same complaint you do. Makes no sense why is eBay auto-relisting an item that apparently nobody wants to buy and I'm getting charged for the re-listing right? Then if I end the listing I'm out the money? Sounds totally ridiculous and maybe illegal?

Okay here's my tip. Find the item in your "active" list which you want to stop auto-relisting. Click on edit. Scroll down your listing below the description to "Pricing" section. In that section you will see auto-relist defaulted to On. Click on the word On (highlighted in blue) and you will see the option to turn auto-relist off. Then scroll to the bottom of your listing and click on update listing. Although this won't refund you for the auto-relist you didn't want in the first place, it will stop it from happening to you again. Hope this helps you all... Cheers..!

I came here like everyone else trying to remove the auto-relist option for my auctions. I did exactly as you described in Revise mode and there simply is no ON/OFF or any other button to turn the option off. The only mention is "If your item doesn't sell, we'll relist it up to 8 times for free."
So again, how do I turn this option off?
