Come on eBay! How are we supposed to sell if we can't answer questions. Has been this way since July 3. Please, for the love of God, fix the problem or go back to old version on messaging for PCs

"My Ebay" sometimes acts up due to problems with scripts or other old cached content.
Try clearing your cache and restarting your browser. That can solve some issues, you will have to sign in again.

Having the same issue here and it's December of 2021. Apparently eBay is not concerned about it. I've always been satisfied with eBay, even among an open ocean of complaints and dissatisfied sellers, but it seems the rising tide is beginning to overwhelm me, and I can see why sellers are opting for other avenues to sell their products. I am also unable to send or receive messages through the eBay page and I get redirected to the same page when I tried to click on the messages link. Why have a link if it doesn't work? Other ways to contact the buyer produce the same result, a redirection back to the same dysfunctional eBay page. How are we to adhere to eBay policy regarding contact the buyer first when there's an issue if we are unable to contact the buyer? This problem has been ongoing for months and still no resolve. So frustrating and disappointing.

This is not good. I haven't had the problem in a while, but one of the customers that didn't get his package couldn't get hold of me, and dumped on my feedback. After a year of dealing with feedback left by cranks, being overloaded from a sudden influx of seed orders from the pandemic, I got my 100% positive back, only to be borked because eBay had dropped the ball again. They sure are screwing up my sales. 100% positive for 3 years prior, and I'm being disgraced by a broken system.

I also have this issue, and my customer needs a resolution to an issue ASAP.

eBay is not here, this is a user forum.
Try contacting your customer through your customer's feedback or profile page using the Contact link.
Or try using a different browser, browser mode or the eBay app to reply or compose a new message.

I’m still having the same issue as of 1/9/2022. I had attached photos, gone into the text and deleted letters, then the send option was available, but no luck today. I even tried to attach lower resolution screen shots of my photos rather than full size photos. This is ridiculous eBay, needs to be fixed!

I just sold something and it’s now saying messaging is turned off for this sale which I certainly never selected under any settings. Now I can’t communicate back with my buyer! What the heck, eBay?! This is my first time doing any sales through eBay and it will be my last after seeing that this is the way you have your service set up. I’ve never seen something so ridiculous before!

It’s pretty **bleep** pathetic after all the money that eBay is raked in from his members that they can’t fix this problem. I don’t know how long it’s been, but I’m still running into this problem in February 2022. Sad very sad. I won’t be buying on eBay any longer, and I won’t be selling on eBay any longer.

I sent messages out to two buyers and they both responded a week later. Their responses were as if I had just sent them. One buyer opened a request on me because I “haven’t shipped the order yet” but I sent it the day after I sent the message a week ago. Who knows when they’ll read my reply. I’m worried I’m going to get into trouble with Ebay for “not sending” the order just because my message went through a week late.

Today is March 16, 2022. I still can not reply to customers even after contacting customer support. Ofcourse, I'm losing sales.
