Come on eBay! How are we supposed to sell if we can't answer questions. Has been this way since July 3. Please, for the love of God, fix the problem or go back to old version on messaging for PCs

Hello Ebay, I am also experiencing this issue now every time I went to reply to a message it just sends me back to the homepage I'm not sure if this was fixed in the past but looks like it is back again not sure if you guys are aware of this. Thank you.

Hi @fly..girl! Back in April the tech team closed the ticket out since they weren't able to recreate it. I do see a recent ticket opened regarding messages though (opened today). Do you happen to get the following message by chance?
"Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later"
If so, I can add your account to that open ticket. If not, what error message do you get? A screen shot and URL would be helpful, and I'll try to open a new ticket.

Hello, thank you for your reply. Yes, that is the message I get when using my laptop :
"Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later" "
When using the Ebay application, I get the following message :
"Oops fail to add member message"

I also am currently getting error message when sending messages using the eBay app or a mobile browser.
However, I am able to send messages using Firefox or Edge on a desktop computer (Windows 10).
If you have eBay messages sent to your email, you may be able to reply to the email directly (rather than using the blue "reply" button in the message) to send an eBay message to the user.

In relation to the last 2 messages I have received from eBay sellers, whilst I can type a reply in the relevant box on screen, the "Send Reply" button is simply dead so I cannot send the reply I have typed. I have never known this before in all my years of being a buyer on eBay. Is this a known current system problem?

I use Microsoft Edge. I can try another browser but the system had all worked perfectly using Edge until about 3 days ago so seems odd that, out of the blue, the "Send Reply" button is dead. I can still use the "Contact Seller" route for a reply and this I do if I am initiating an exchange but it was better simply to use the "Send Reply" facility when responding to a message from sellers. As the "Send Reply " facility has been dead in respect of my last 2 eBay messages which came from 2 different sellers, it cannot be some particular fault in relation to one seller. The sellers appear to be able to use the "Send Reply" to respond to my eBay messages.

The "Send reply" button seems to be working for me using the latest version of Edge, but perhaps the issue is related to your particular settings or add-ons.
