As A Seller I do not want the customer to have to choose a default payment

eBay in its infinite  insanity is forcing buyers to check a default payment method.   Many buyers wish to combine items, get an invoice, or chose the payment method at checkout, often based on the final price.

Is there a way to turn that off.
