First I should say, I use the full ebay website on a computer with home wifi, no idea if Manage Active Listings is even accessible on a phone. I use MAL a lot to make decisions on my listings. I know the Performance tab offers tons more information and I do consult it occasionally for certain kinds of concerns, but for the most part it is TMI for my particular varieties of items, and everything I really need to know is on the MAL page. One of its' most useful features is that most of the columns are sortable, so I can easily see which listings are more 'this' or 'that' than others. Unfortunately the Views column is not sortable and I can't guess why. I would find it pretty handy, like for items with relatively low view counts; deciding if I should increase the promotion rate or consider whether the title or main photo needs re-doing, or for items with relatively high views but still unsold, whether to lower the price or see if something about the listing is unappealing after the viewer clicks on it. 'Start Date' is the closest to suiting this need, which is why I keep that as the default sorting for the page, but it doesn't take into account that some categories are just bound to take longer to sell.
So, is there any reason why Views couldn't be programmed to sort on command, and if not then I'm requesting that, lol. BTW, if this is NOT a sub-forum where users can get website answers or make requests of ebay employees, which one is? The Community looks different and doesn't appear to have the same forums as it used to, some time in the past (I'm a random and sporadic participant here).

In old My eBay Selling active pages you were able to sort by views but I think by menu not column header. In old Selling Manager I don’t think you could sort by views but a trick was to sort by Watchers then go up into browser address bar and find the option keyword Watchers and change it to Views and press enter and it would sort by Views. Views was a valid option but not used. This trick apparently does nor work in the Seller Hub when i tried it.

The Seller Hub "Manage Active Listings" page does have a "comments" option at the top. I recommend using that feature to request that views be sortable.
I suppose one reason there is not a sort option is because when a listing is newly created, a few views can be added by the seller's own previews and by the indexing and compliance filters. So a handful could be "non-views". More views are added if the item is "shared" on social media, and those are "non-views" as the media sites grab the data. This basically means that the "views" value is a very rough guideline.
I was very recently updated from the old seller hub to the new seller hub (very minor differences) and they both no longer allowed sorting views the way Selling Manager did. I find this disconcerting because I have one listing with a quarter million views and another with 3/4 million, and it was kind of fun to watch those numbers.
I have no idea why a couple of my test listings took off into hyperspace, but obviously they are used by someone, somewhere, possibly for testing, because they aren't items for sale and are not listings of interest. At the time, wondering if there was simply a glitch from one system to another, I did watch the counter every day for a week or so, and sure enough, the views were updating at a thousand per day, like clockwork. "Entertaining" is about the only way I can describe it, LOL.

That is utterly bonkers! The curiosity about what those are being used for would just drive me nuts.
