Around mid April I ordered a vintage set of Cookbooks I remembered from childhood from a seller here but, I found it cheaper from another Seller and cancelled the first set I ordered and was issued a refund. Great case closed right? no I get the Shipped Msg from ebay that the seller of the first set that I cancelled and got a refund for has just shipped the cookbooks yesterday, may 24th 2022 an entire MONTH after I cancelled and got my refund.
I contacted the seller and have had no response.
I told them I will return it if it shows up but I can't pay return shipping on an order I cancelled.
Should I report it to ebay? what if they try to collect payment?

Hopefully they got your message and don't actually send it.
They wouldn't be able to collect payment. They could ask.
The seller would have to provide you with a shipping label to return the items. They would have to send you a label by message or email (ebay wouldn't be able to facilitate the return shipping label for a cancelled order.)

@kathmcmu-0 If you in fact cancelled the transaction and were issued a refund, then you have nothing to be concerned about. Seller is now responsible for the unpaid for shipment. If they want the books returned the seller will need to provide you a shipping label to do so. Otherwise you are not obligated to return them as you never ordered them. You can keep the books, donate them to someone else, or donate them to charity.
No one can force you to pay for something you clearly cancelled and were refunded for. This is now just an inconvenience for you to deal with. Don't get into any back and forth with the seller if that happens. Just ask them for a return label or tell them you are donating the books. Best of luck to you....

Exactly! You will be fine and hopefully the seller will send you a label shortly. You can just put the label on it without opening the package to save you time.
