I have found out after a few transactions with eBay that NOBODY SHOULD BUY ANYTHING FROM A SELLER THAT DICTATES THAT BUYER PAYS FOR RETURN SHIPPING----IT'S A SCAM & THEY KNOW THEY'RE HOME FREE FROM TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR PRODUCT---THEY KNOW THEY'RE SELLEING A LAME PRODUCT---EBAY SHOULD TAKE RESONSIBILITY TO ELIMINATE THESE FRAUDULENT SELLERS---they sell items that are incomplete, lame & or the description of item is not what you get---products that come up short--vague & inaccurate by their description.  "Buyer beware" is a not a statement that should be associated with eBay.  eBay always claims satisfaction with purchases but that's not true.

If the item isn't as described ...A savvy buyer would open a not as described, damaged, missing parts or pieces returns which requires the seller to pay for return shipping. Regardless of what the seller's shipping policy says.

Buyer paid returns are for returns like, didn't like it, ordered by mistake, wrong size, found cheaper elsewhere.

The items were wrong size but eBay stated & produces a page that has me choose which company to return it by & pay the return fee

It does not matter if they have that in the listing or not. If the item is not as described, you can get your money back along with shipping. (both ways) The same goes with listings that state no returns. Anything you purchase arrives not as described can be returned at the expense of the seller. Read the eBay MBG to understand how a buyer is protected and how to proceed if one is in a position to return an item.

That is a remorse return that the buyer is required to pay for shipping to return.

If you don't want to pay shipping to return the item then don't return it, give it as a gift donate to goodwill or sell it your self.

I want my money back cause it's worthless for what they are---I ordered screws for my laptop--it takes about 11 plus different size & types of screws---the ones sent me had about 12-15 screws all the same size & style but none of the screws matched the laptop screws needed.  300 (minus) 15 screws that don't work.

Go here and read about getting a refund for "item not as described."

It sounds as if you selected 'Didn't fit' as your Return reason. ('Didn't fit' is a remorse reason.) Did you? Here's the MBG.

Depending on the age of the laptop, I've often found it's cheaper and better to look for the same laptop, or similar, listed for parts/broken. Getting genuine screws that are the right length can save damaging your laptop.

And you can also resell it again afterwards, not forgetting to mention the parts you have removed.

'found out after a few transactions'...looks like more than a few by the feedbacks you left for sellers.

Ebay and online shopping aren't for everyone. For the number of unhappy transactions you've had, you might find buying in person to be a better option for you.

Thank you for posting though.

I've tried that since this fiasco & came up short. They/seller state screws for it but don't list them nor an accurate pix for display.  This is not going to be a walk in the park

eBay keeps constantly advertise they got everything---with money back guarantee---**bleep**--& money back is an issue--I don't understand why eBay doesn't weed them out

I can't get a human on chat--they want to call me--I don't have a phone---What is the sense of having a chat window if they want to call you???--I don't know how they decided that "didn't fit" does not belong to---"The item received by the buyer doesn't match the listing"---if it matched the listing---I would not  be here.  How do I chat with somebody/human ??

If you chose Didn't Fit as the reason for the return, that's considered a remorse return and buyer pays return shipping, if the seller accepts returns.

With a remorse return, seller can deny a return if they have no returns.

Have a great day.
