I have found out after a few transactions with eBay that NOBODY SHOULD BUY ANYTHING FROM A SELLER THAT DICTATES THAT BUYER PAYS FOR RETURN SHIPPING----IT'S A SCAM & THEY KNOW THEY'RE HOME FREE FROM TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR PRODUCT---THEY KNOW THEY'RE SELLEING A LAME PRODUCT---EBAY SHOULD TAKE RESONSIBILITY TO ELIMINATE THESE FRAUDULENT SELLERS---they sell items that are incomplete, lame & or the description of item is not what you get---products that come up short--vague & inaccurate by their description. "Buyer beware" is a not a statement that should be associated with eBay. eBay always claims satisfaction with purchases but that's not true.

That sucks---this is totally out of context---eBay needs a better system & setup special pages so it stands out---totally different then other pages of sellers that require "buyer pays return shipping" & or for "returns not accepted"
You buy a product by relying on seller's given description & it does not fit--how else to address this ?? Like I said if it had right screws for my laptop I wouldn't be here.

If the item doesn't match the description, you select 'Not as Described'. You've learned that 'Doesn't fit' is a remorse reason. But if you botched the claim... go to your payment source. That's the only "how else..." that I can think of. Good luck.

Hi @xihd
I agree that ‘Doesn’t fit’ can be the result of EITHER a buyer’s or seller’s mistake. Unfortunately, eBay decided it is always a buyer’s remorse reason for wanting a return.
I haven’t heard of eBay ever relenting on a ‘Doesn’t fit’ designation. We just have to learn by this experience to never choose that reason when a seller has made an error.
Forget trying to get eBay to see the light. Contact your payment source for a refund.
