I bought an item but received a different item and asked for a refund is that wrong?

It's not wrong  to ask for a refund, but it's correct  to open a Return request so that the seller can get the item back before refunding . Find the order in your Purchase History and press the big, blue 'Return this item' button. Follow the bouncing ball. Good luck.
