I returned something to a seller and used the pre-paid shipping label. But when it got to the seller's state, the tracking says this:
Your item was forwarded to a different address at 8:00 am on October 9, 2024 in FOREST LAKE, MN. This was because of forwarding instructions or because the address or ZIP Code on the label was incorrect.
and it keeps getting forwarded.
I went to the post office with the tracking info and such and they said the package is on the way back to me.
What do I do? I do not want the item and want my money back.

If you got that prepaid return label
-- after you waited for a response then asked eBay to steep in it --
eBay will force the refund a few moments after tracking shows the item was delivered back to you.
Instead if that prepaid return label
-- came from eBay within the 3 business days after you started the return request --
it will take up to 2 business days to get your refund after tracking shows the item was delivered back to you.
Either way @elfilin don't respond or try to contact the seller, and just wait for return delivery and your refund.

I would contact an Ebay agent about this through contact us, chat box, then ask for an agent to call you. Tell them the situation. If the seller is giving instructions or wrong address on file that's not your fault. That's on the seller.

When the item is returned to you and tracking shows it was delivered, you should get your refund soon after that.
