ebay will not intervene to help me get my money back for an item that is not the size as advertised. I have sent a return request to the seller along with 2 messages. No response .So much for being a customer of over 14 years. I am less likely to buy from this site going forward. #boycottebay

Did you file an item not as described case? If not, do so. If you filed a does not fit case, that is a problem. In that case you have to contact you card company if you paid by credit card or the payment service you used.

eBay does not get involved in returns, that is between the buyer and seller. You need to do as simba6 posted. Read and use the Money Back.

You open an eBay claim not as described...
You have 30 days from item being delivered to you.
Not sure what the problem is here.

Sounds like the OP is dealing with the seller directly not using the MB.

Hi @hg2467
Unless you filed a formal ‘return request’ from your Purchase History … you haven’t given eBay any way to intervene.
IF the seller has a ‘no return’ policy … THEN you can’t use ‘Doesn’t fit’ as the reason for requesting a return. If you did that … then you may have to seek a refund from your credit card company.

Based on your feedback left for the seller, this sounds like a remorse return.
You state, "shoes were too big and didn't fit like a size 11". You don't mention what size they actually are. If in fact they're a size 11, the seller has done nothing wrong here as far as ebay policy goes. As @house*of*paws noted, if you opened a formal case and chose 'doesn't fit', it goes down as a remorse return and the seller may or may not allow the return, and you would pay return shipping.
