Anybody else experience a system 'glitch' on the buyer's end when sending a return?
I hardly get returns, but had 2 last month - I OK'd the returns, and the buyers followed all the correct procedures - ebay auto-generated a return label for them TO MY OLD ADDRESS, not my Current one. (Yes, it was correctly updated 4 years ago when we moved, and the shipping stubs I kept on both have the correct, current address)
I have no idea why the system reverted to the old address, but after 3 attempted returns boomeranged around, I finally got one of the items back yesterday. The other? LOST somewhere. (I've been to 3 different Post Offices trying to run it down. No luck)
eBay "support" (there's a laugh) seems to think the buyers & I need to 'work it out' - the standard reply - only it's eBay's SYSTEM GLITCH that caused this - shouldn't eBay be covering all the excess shipping - and if not, why the Hell not?!

It's a little tricky. The return address that shows on your shipping labels is managed from a different tab than your preferred address for authorized returns. Go into "my ebay" then click "account" then click "adresses" then click "return address" which is the fourth tab down. Make your edit there.
