I purchased a pair of boots on eBay two weeks ago. The boots were too big, so I requested to return them to the seller. My requerst was denied. So I went back to the seller again and requested to return the boots - the response was the same - request denied. I told the seller that I'd be glad to exchange the boots for a smaller size - no response. The boots are brand new, never worn and in their original box - they are in the same condition as the day I received them. I'm not sure what to do at this point - can I get some guidance on how I can get the seller to accept my return of the boots. Or how I can get help from eBay to reach out to the seller and allow me to return the boots.
Thanks

If you used 'dont fit' that is a remorse return. And if the seller had a no returns policy on them, he is allowed to refuse the return, and Ebay will support that.

You can resell them. The sellers policy has “no returns” which means you can’t return them. you should check the return policy before you make a purchase.

The seller isn't Macy's or Walmart and is allowed to have a no return policy for items that don't fit.
What I'd suggest is to email the seller, explain that since they don't accept returns, you understand but would like to ask permission to use their pictures (assuming they properly depict the boots) to list them yourself.
Hey! Maybe you can make a profit!

Hmm. If the boots are from the seller who left you the most recent feedback, that seller has a "30 days, buyer pays return shipping" policy.
Did you actually open a return request or did you merely send the seller a message? With a return policy, the seller MUST accept the request for any reason.
If you didn't open a return request, go to the order and do so. You will be charged for return shipping and since the seller has a separate shipping charge, they can retain original shipping (if they desire) so you'd have to decide whether it's worth it to you.

If the boots were described as a size five but were actually a size ten then you open an item not as described case and the seller would have no choice but to accept a return.
But if they are as described and the seller doesn't accept returns then as suggested you can always sell them yourself.

If the return request is over 30 days from the day you receive them that may be why it is denied.
You can do an item not as described if boots were too many sizes too large.
Seller doesn't have to response to emails.
No returns does not mean no returns.
You can open a claim whether or not seller responds to your emails.

I'm learning the policies of eBay returns. Appreciate the feedback from this community.
