I have recently started selling some of my old Pokémon cards. I have had someone ask for a return on a card they paid a few bucks for stating they didn’t notice it had creasing. In my pictures you could see the creasing. If I accept the return do I only give them the few bucks back or do I give them shipping back as well. I have no returns set, but I just want to make sure I do the right thing.

Have they started a return case with eBay or just messaging you?
My standard reply to a message inquiry is, "Sorry you are not pleased with your purchase. Please return for refund."
This puts the ball in the buyers court. Wait and see what they do.
If they have already opened a return case, you have choices:
1. You can refund now and let the buyer keep the item.
2. Accept the return and make sure a prepaid return label is available in the return case. The buyer returns the item and then you refund in full.
Seller protection:
If you are a Top Rated Seller who offers 30-day or longer returns and the buyer returns something different, opened, used, etc. the seller can deduct up to 50% of the refund to recover the decreased value of the item.
3. Do nothing. eBay will close the return, refund the buyer and allow the buyer to keep the item. You also receive a defect on your seller account for having eBay step in and refund.

Who pays for return shipping depends on the reason that's chosen on the official return request.
Seller would pay for return shipping if a return is opened for a "not as described" type of return. That's the number one rule of online selling.
