Hi,
I was sent the wrong DVD from the UK. I requested a return, and the seller agreed to this. Now there is a message from the seller that they can't send a return shipping label. What is the next option for returning an item from abroad ? Is there a time-limit by which the DVD must be back with the seller ?
Thanks.

The seller is responsible for paying the return postage, this is their problem, not yours. Overseas sellers that cannot send labels are supposed to send you money to pay for the shipping label. Under Paypal they typically just do a partial refund; I have no clue how that would work on MP, or what happens if they do not send the money or a label. I would imagine after the time limit is passed, you would be able to ask eBay to step in and close it in your favor.

Hi,
Thank you for the reply, much appreciated. I contacted moviemars again, as they now tell me that they will not pay for return shipping unless there was a problem at their warehouse, or a problem with an inaccurate listing. A wrong DVD sent surely will fall under a warehouse problem. So I will turn to ebay and see what they will do.

Actually sending a partial refund for the shipping label wouldn't have been an acceptable way to do that. The seller would have needed to send a separate new payment to buyer for the label. If the just sent a partial refund from the original payment then the only have to refund the rest of that payment upon a return leaving the buyer still out return costs

Very good point.

If the seller won't send you the funds to return the DVD, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

There is the possibility that you won't see the 'ask ebay to step in' link if the seller has already agreed to a return. If you don't see the link, then contact customer service by sending a message at Facebook or Twitter.
