Hi all!
So I’m back with another question about a return. Long story short, I purchased a point and shoot camera but the shipper sent a completely different camera, gave a long winded excuse and gave off a general vibe of shadiness. I submitted the not as described claim last week on Thursday which he accepted.
My concern is that when the return was accepted I got notified that the seller was not able to provide a shipping label (he stated on the listing no returns accepted, but I hardly think that is fair in this scenario considering he sent a completely different broken camera..). PayPal and eBay have also confirmed the return though it hasn’t shown up in my account.
So my question: will the money still be coming? Or will I need to wrestle with the seller/ebay to send a return label and ship the wrong camera back, and only then will my money be credited?
I’ve included a screen grab of the confirmation from ebay as well.
Just hoping some extra light can be shed on this so I know if I should be chasing my seller.
Thanks a lot for any advice you can share!

according to that black picture you were refunded on 8/31
its not a problem if you do nothing
if the seller wants it back they will find a way to get you a label
normally when a seller just refund right away thats a sign that you are done with the transaction
of course if the seller wants it back they will need to ask you for it
some sellers refund first by mistake but I dont get that feeling about your purchase

Did you submit a Return Request or open an Item Not As Described case?

Yes so I opened one last week and the seller accepted the return almost immediately. I got the notification from eBay that the 135 euro would be refunded and it shows the case as closed (see screenshot).
so what I’m wondering is if I get the money even tho the seller hasn’t given me a return label to send the wrong item back.
My communication with the guy left me with the impression that he sent the wrong camera on purpose. So I don’t mind if I don’t have a label to send it back with and get to keep it, but if there will be some complications later with him and eBay then I obviously want to avoid that.

You’ve been refunded your money, the seller doesn’t want the item returned. So the camera is yours to do as you see fit.
