Return

I had a customer purchase a $250 vase that has already left positive feedback now wants to return it because it does not fit in their cabinet. The pictures did include measurements.

I do allow returns so I am guessing that I have no choice but thought I would ask, this is a first in my few years of selling.

Yes, you already accepted the return if they filed a return case. If they picked "does not fit" as the reason or one of the other remore reasons, then they are paying the return shipping.

Hopefully they can get it back to you in one piece.

Meant to say, "remorse reasons"

@bryshe2

If you accept returns, they can return an item for any/no reason.

Have a great day.

All sellers do allow returns.  Some just don't know it yet.   Look on the bright side, it has not happened much.

The buyer has no basis for returning.  It was their mistake.  They already left positive feedback.

Because you accept returns the buyer can return it to you for any reason. Doesn't matter if they left positive feedback, that is not binding to anything. Always keep in mind, this platform offers a money back guarantee to all buyers. Remain courteous to the buyer so that they will take care in shipping it back to you. You can sell it again to someone else. Best of luck to you....

When a seller offers '30-day returns' ... the buyer doesn't need a basis for returning.  The only issue is who pays the return shipping ... and that depends on the 'reason' the buyer chose when they filed a return request.

I agree with what all others said.  Now concentrate on getting that buyer to carefully pack the 250 .oo vase so that it arrives in the same condition that you sent them.   Goodluck. Let's hope that they return the same vase and you can resell it.

They are totally going to toss that dude in a reused cat litter box with no padding.

For everything that happens conditions exist such that nothing else could have happened.
