Refunds

I shipped an item to the address listed on the buyers account. Item was delivered. Buyer contacts me wanting a refund because that’s not his address. I recheck order to verify that item was delivered to address listed on his account. He says account must have been hacked and he didn’t notice the address was wrong when he purchased item. Now he expects me to issue refund.  How is this my fault?? Why should I be out the money??

Re: Refunds

If he opens a case, just supply the tracking number to verify that it was sent and delivered to his registered Ebay address.

Re: Refunds

Buyer needs to open a eBay claim as item not received...which he probably won't win.

Stop emailing the buyer for heaven's sake.

Buyer can do a credit card dispute..but you have tracking and item was delivered.

I wouldn't do anything yet.

Until the funds of the item are on hold in "payments"...there is nothing to do.

Re: Refunds

Until they open an actual case, do not communicate with them. If their account was hacked, that is their problem not yours the seller.

How is this my fault? It isn't.

At some point you might want to add them to your blocked buyers list.
