Purchased a hood strut for my 2011 Chevy Camaro that will not work.
try to see about returning it to get my money back, but there is no simple way to do so.
I will never buy anything again unless it comes with a phone number to contact seller.

You still are covered. Do you have the emails from that sale? If so, log out and log back in as a guest and then you can pull up the sale to file a case. Guest purchases are not as easy to deal with.

Here is help returning an item as a guest:
If the seller shipped UPS, his phone number is probably on the shipping label.
The best way to deal with this is open a return if you are within 30 days of the delivery date.
