Person made a request to EBAY Help for refund for full amount. She purchased 2 sets of 2. In the refund request she state she wants to keep one of the sets and only wants refund for 1 set of 2. The actions do not give me a choice of a partial refund. How do I change if to a partial refund?
Thanks

What type of request did they open? If it is a return request, they should have been able to specify how many items they are returning if it was set up as a multi-quantity listing, though if it was just a single listing for both sets, that wouldn't be offered.

eBay is not really set up for that. If they file a case and choose missing items you can. All other cases it's all or nothing. Do you have the option of giving a part refund? Many cases allow that.

No that's the problem. Thanks

It was a multi-quantity listing. Her request stated she got the wrong item and stated she 2 sets and only wanted 1 set. However, the request is for the full amount. I messaged to verify she wants to keep 1 set and is aware she will be refunded for the one set only. I just can't find away. Thanks

Wondering why having the option to offer a partial refund
is not the solution here?

Partial refund is a good solution when the buyer receives the item but has a minor issue. It helps avoid returns, saves time and cost, and keeps seller performance metrics safe when handled with proper communication.
