I recently bought something and the seller posted it as shipped, the delivery date is way past due like a month past due, my mistake I made was I requested a return  without even getting the item because the seller told me that he was late to ship because a family emergency, is there a way I can contact ebay to resolve this?

What was the latest estimated delivery date? How/where did you request to return the item? Why did you request to return an item that you don't have to return?

I assume your seller advised you tracking number for your item.

Please check the status on postal service providers website.

Please contact eBay customer services through help& contact and then contact us option and explain the situation.

If track& trace website shows item delivered then you have no way of proving that you have not received the item, however if this shows not delivered then eBay should help you by closing the case in your favour.

If your seller never provided you with a tracking number then please advise and no doubt we shall come up with a solution.

There will be a date shown on the case itself telling you latest date that you must post the item. Please advise this date.
