I did a return request for an item I needed to return, seller sent me return label code. I took the package to a FedEx drop site. It sat there a few days Never being picked up, so I said enough and go get it and bring it to a fedex store, i let seller know whats happening. It gets marked as delivered like a hr later instead of in transit. Seller opened a case, we message back and forth and they see it's on the way. It makes it to the town of deliver and tracking says label not readable, relabeled. But they did the label wrong and it starts making its way back to me. I make a claim with fedex, they put for it to be turned around and corrected when scanned again. It ends up back where I dropped it at the first time. They see the error in the system and make a new label with new tracking. Sigh. I go get it not wanting it to sit there forever and take it to a fedex location again. I tell the seller the new tracking and what's going on. I also at the same time I'm writing them get a message from them saying they saw it made it to their town and something happened with the label and it came back to me. Seller has wrote back everytime saying no problem, when it gets here we can move forward. It gets delivered I ask seller to confirm they really got it this time, they say yes and that the return is closed. They ask if anything different on my end and if so they'll dig further. So I screenshot it showing my end that return closed because seller opened a case. Ebay sent me a email about the case then another about it being on hold and said if they need any info they will email me. I haven't received a email for info. But seller wrote back this morning with once they ship an item its out of their hands and to wait til eBay decides 7/6. I don't think its the same person who's been writing me. They used my ebay username and never have before and acted like my issue was with their shipment to me and not a return. What do I do? What will happen. The seller made a second item purchased with all the same info as the first item i returned and put the new tracking number in it. I'm assuming for ebay to see the tracking and that they received it. It's been since the 13th fedex has had this package going round and round and now I'm scared I'm out of my 340. Because of it.

Glad it was resolved, I personally never use fedex unless I have to, and you might have to again if a seller provides you a label.
Next time don't communicate with seller about these issues, just contact ebay right away and they will take care of you.
All you have to do is have the tracking number scanned to show proof you dropped it off and you are fully covered.

What you should do is ask ebay to step in and help.
If it was a seller provided label it doesn't matter what happens to the package. All you have to do is show proof you dropped it off (which the tracking should reflect)
If you have facebook I recommend going to www.facebook.com/eBayForBusiness and let them know the situation.

BE SURE TO MENTION ITS SELLER PROVIDED LABEL

I just did a check with someone from ebay they said it was resolved and I'd receive emails about my refund that's being processed. I don't know how long that takes but my return still shows on hold and no email yet.

The system runs a bit behind, but if he resolved your case the hold should drop after a few hours and you should receive an email that your refund is being processed to whatever form of payment you used.

Don't talk to the seller any more @joseph69871 or try to contact eBay.
Tomorrow at exactly the same hour and minute when the case was put on hold, eBay will force a refund no matter where the package ended up.

The hold is only there because the system doesn't detect delivery on returns. All he has to do once it was delivered was contact eBay, he doesn't have to wait, let them know the tracking shows delivered and they would drop the hold and refund on the spot.

It's been resolved now. This was my first time ever dealing with any kind of issue. It definitely made me not want to ship through fedex ever again. For 2 and a half wks they had that return go all over the place. I was so nervous that they messed up my refund. I just happened to see a post on here, telling someone else to open a chat with ebay to get it resolved. They fixed the issue in a few minutes of looking at the case and return delivery info.
