I have two accounts to purchase from, my account and my wife's account. I am sure I ordered from my personal account. I have the order number and the item number. When I attempted to execute a return, that order is not displayed in either of those accounts. If I enter the order number or the item number in the search field I get a reply that the order and that item are not in My Purchase History. Therefor I am unable to effect a return.
How can I make a return if the order is not showing in either of my accounts? How can I get this corrected in Ebay.

eBay's search field on the Purchase History page may not find an order number unless it is in the precise format including dashes and is complete. Searches by partial number will not work.
You can try using your browser's Find (Control-F in most browsers) feature to search for a string on the page, but be sure to go to page two and beyond to continue searching multiple pages.
