Do you know sellers name, you can search for them on eBay, is there any form that verifies the validity of such warranty? The information should be there. Typically most sellers on eBay are re-sellers and not the true manufacturer or authorized representative of the goods, with some exceptions, so I question the warranty itself. May I ask what is the item in question?

Unless they were an authorized dealer of the item you don't actually have a warranty

Something else to add, if this is indeed a "true" manufacturers warranty, typically such warranties involved registering the product online through the manufacturer detailing purchase, sometimes it involves just sending snail mail as well of a prefilled form. As such, most manufacturers tend to not honor warranties for items purchased on eBay through non-authorized sales representatives.

It would be the company that made it that would handle any warranty. If you did not purchase from a factory dealer, they often won't cover it.
Most items sold on eBay have no warranty as they are considered second hand.
