The ad states that the welder welds aluminum, but inside the package it says it will not weld aluminum.

Just click the RETURN THIS ITEM button @donny95240 then select the Wrong Item Scam reason from the list.
Wait 3 business days -- tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday -- then click Ask eBay to stab in if you don't have a refund yet, or a PREPAID return label. If the seller accepts the return then leaves you dangling, come please back hear.

Personally, I believe that "doesn't match description" would be a better option.

I would agree and picking the correct reason is important when filing a return request.
Choose wisely.
Personally i would contact the seller first before submitting the request.

This would apply if the buyer received a completely wrong item, like a wrench instead of the welder.
It would appear that they did in fact receive the welder in the ad, but it was not capable of doing what the seller claimed it would.

It depends. Aluminum requires a different type of gas to weld with... It sounds like you bought a welder with aluminum welding capability in which case it advertised correct and inside the listing does it say can't weld aluminum without "" ? I'd assume the gas is not included due to shipping reasons...

Since @jahood1984 brought up what mind be a good suggestion, can you quote exactly the part where it says it won't weld aluminum?

I suspect it's this, OP can confirm:

My first thought was that welding aluminum requires different gases, too. If it's that listing, then it says "With Gas" under the Item Specifics, Features section. Whaddya think, @jahood1984.? Did it come with gas, @donny95240?

That appears to be just the wire feeder and spool that you connect to your own welder, if your welder doesn't have a gas connection for aluminum then you cant weld aluminum no matter what king of mig/tig/stick welding your doing.
If that's the right listing and it states can't weld aluminum without gas (I can't see it on my phone), the buyer made a mistake and shouldn't punish the seller it's a very nice setup, just sell your welder and get one with an extra gas hook up for aluminum would be my recommendation. If you don't want to do that, simply resell it.
