A buyer misordered a part. I sent the part that was ordered. The buyer contacted me saying he ordered the wrong part. I am accepting a return but want the buyer to pay for return shipping. When a buyer creates a return they are asked to choose a reason for returning. They select 1 of with 10 possible reasons. Which of the 10 reasons requires the buyer to pay return shipping? I this case, I believe they buyer should choose "Ordered By Mistake", but now am wondering which of the 10 choices leaves the buyer responsible to pay return shipping. When they choose an option where the buyer is responsible for shipping are they presented with the opportunity to create a label and the cost is deducted from their refund amount?

Have them select Ordered By Mistake and they'll have to pay return shipping.
They can either get a shipping label through Ebay or buy their own.

They pay for the label before they ship.
If the buyer paid for initial shipping, you may be allowed to refund just the item cost.
