I have made a purchase. Item received yesterday not as per description.
I am unable to proceed with a complaint, since my order does not appear in my history, nor purchases ! And ebay requires an order number to function !!!
And yet, I have received the item, I do have the order number and the seller’s user name.
Any help on how to proceedmont welcome !

You may have purchased as a guest. Look in your eMails fir the confirmation eMails when you made the purchase and proceed from there.
It is not necessary to create multiple posts on the same topic. It is considered spamming the board.

Not sure if it will show up, but did you search the title under sold items on the site?

Check your confirmation email - is it possible you used guest checkout?

Hi @franten_85
Just making sure you see the replies you received, since I don't believed anyone tagged you.
The confirmation email you received after purchasing the item contains the instructions for returning it. Be sure you choose 'Doesn't match description or photos' as the reason for wanting the return. Ask eBay to step in after 3 business days have passed if you haven't received either a prepaid shipping label OR a full refund by then.

Ok.
That may or may not happen.
What you need to start with is opening a return for "not as described"
DO NOT open a case for "item not received"
This will insure you at least get refunded.
You will then want to start communicating with the seller. They may or may not respond.

Thanks for your suggestion - unfortunately the ebay site always asks for an order number, which does not appear in my history, although I did order using my ref, and not as a guest

I think you might think you did something but you actually did something else. maybe check emails they do have a search function.

Thanks Scout - I did that ... but going nowhere since ebay has not recorded my purchase. I would like to find a way to contact the seller directly - Any suggestion welcome !
